About us

We're 40 this year!

What began as a small gathering, in Brian and Pam Moseley's house 40 years ago, continues to draw people to worship God and to spur one another on to love and good works.

Located in the heart of Selsdon, Croydon Jubilee Church is a charismatic, evangelical church, with a heart for its community. We are part of the Regions Beyond family of churches and the wider New Frontiers network and we work closely with churches of many different expressions of Christianity across the borough.

As a charismatic church, we seek to be led by the prophetic and one particular word that is influencing our prayers and plans was brought to us a number of years ago, but that we believe has a resonance with us today, for this time. This prophetic word said that we would become like an Adullam's cave, where "the depressed, the indebted and the discouraged come to find hope and healing."

We are led by Jesus. It's his church and he has given us a team of four elders, called from among the congregation, by the congregation, who serve as under-shepherds on behalf of the congregation. Those four men define the doctrine of the church and direct the affairs of the church, but everyone who makes up Croydon Jubilee plays an important role is shaping who we are and what we do. We sincerely believe in the priesthood of all believers and we enjoy making space for everyone to walk in their gifting, for the good of the whole body and the places where we live and work.

As part of our ministry in Croydon we run Selsdon Hall on behalf of the community, which can be booked for events of all kinds, we even have a fully licensed bar! Further information about the hall can be found on its website
